This past week, the CDC released new recommendations for fully vaccinated people based upon new evidence on the Delta variant currently circulating in the United States. Alabama continues to be an area of substantial and high transmission rates for COVID-19. In light of these facts, UCA will resume mandatory mask requirements for fully vaccinated Team Members, patients, visitors, and vendors effective Wednesday, August 4, 2021.

UCA values our Team Members and their families, our patients, and the community, and will continue to monitor and re-evaluate our position, and make decisions based upon the safety, health, and well-being of all. We appreciate your continued support, faithfulness, and responsibility to manage the spread and infection of this virus.
