Dr. Meagan Cramer
Dr. Cramer is a urogynecologist who offers surgical and non-surgical treatment for women with pelvic floor disorders. Common pelvic floor disorders that she treats include pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, urinary tract infections, overactive bladder, accidental bowel leakage, difficulty emptying the bladder or rectum, pelvic and bladder pain, and fistulas.
Dr. Cramer is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and recently completed a 3-year fellowship in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery (URPS) at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon.
Originally from Oneonta, Alabama, Dr. Cramer earned a bachelor’s degree in Sports Medicine and minor in Missions from Samford University in Birmingham. She then attended medical school at the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham. She completed her Residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Christiana Care Health System in Newark, Delaware. Most recently, she completed a three-year fellowship in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon, where she also earned a Masters of Clinical Research (MCR).
She and her husband Gary are very excited to have moved back home to Birmingham with their daughter Noa and dog Luna after being away for 7 years. They enjoy camping, fly fishing, snowboarding, and hiking.
