In-House Dispensary
Urology Centers of Alabama prides itself on offering our patients the opportunity to get all urologic treatment in one location whenever possible. We have recently opened an in-house physician-dispensary to help patients control out of pocket expenses.

Today, many insurance plans no longer provide insurance coverage for erectile dysfunction medications. Our patients now have the opportunity to purchase a generic version of Viagra, Sildenafil (the active ingredient in Viagra®) and generic versions of Cialis, Tadalafil (the active ingredient in Cialis®) through our in-house physician dispensary. The price for this medication is about one third the cost of the brand name ED drugs and far cheaper than it is available at most local pharmacies. At this time, this is the only ED oral medication we can offer, but as other generic versions come on the market we will expand the number of drugs offered. We can only dispense this medication at our office in Homewood, but your urologist can write the prescription at any of our locations and you can have it filled at the Homewood dispensary. We can only ship medications within the state of Alabama.
Our Specialty Dispensary formed in 2014 in an effort to provide service to our patients on location for medication for our Erectile Dysfunction patients as well as our oral oncolytics for our cancer patients. Urology Centers of Alabama Dispensary only dispense medications such as: Sidenafil, Tadalafil, Xtandi, Zytiga, Prednisone, Erleada, Nubeqa, Nocdurna and Yonsa medications. We only fill medications prescribed by physicians at Urology Centers of Alabama.
Hours of operation: Monday – Thursday, 8:00am – 5:00pm; Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
